                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO REZONE A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED AT 7235 EAST
                   BRAINERD ROAD, BEING ON THE NORTHEAST LINE OF
                   EAST BRAINERD ROAD SOUTHEAST OF BUNKER HILL
                   DRIVE FROM R-1 RESIDENTIAL ZONE TO C-6
                   COMMERCIAL ZONE, SUBJECT TO CERTAIN CONDITIONS.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to rezone:
                A tract of land located at Part of an unplatted
                tract, being part of the property described in deed
                book 3766, page 835, ROHC.  Said part of tract
                begins on the northeast line of East Brainerd Road
                509.22 feet southeast of the intersection of the
                northeast line of East Brainerd Road with the
                southeast line of Bunker Hill Drive, thence
                northeast some 204 feet, thence southeast 100 feet,
                thence southwest 206.94 feet to the northeast line
                of East Brainerd Road, thence northwest 100 feet
                with East Brainerd Road to the point of beginning. 
                Tax Map No. 158E-C-9 (part).  
               
         from R-1 Residential Zone to C-6 Commercial Zone.
              	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this rezoning 

         shall be subject to the following conditions:

              1.   Used as florist shop, art gallery, parking and access 

                   use only.
        
              2.   All existing easements are retained.
        
              	   SECTION 3.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two (2) weeks from and after its passage as
         provided by law.
